Customer Review: As an encyclopedia, it does a great job. At this price you get absolutely a great amount of and CORRECT knowledge. Dictionary, atlas, timelines and online updates are all good features. I'm not a fun of BrainStormer, but that's fine. As a simple database + search software, sometimes taking... more info
Customer Review: I don't have much doubt on the quality of the content of Britannica series, but will try to specifically mention a couple things on the packaged s/w version. - Dictionary (part of this s/w) is not as rich as those online dictionary such as theFreeDictionary.com or dictionary.com. Customer Review: I have this product installed on Windows XP Professional. I suggest running the program so its dictionary & thesaurus are open at the same time - side by side. IT WORKS GREAT and never interferes with other computer programs.
Customer Review: I am always on a lookout for a good computer-based dictionary. I have tested a few different versions by various software publishers. Currently, I am using Random House Webster's Unabridged Dictionary 3.0 and Think Map's Visual Thesaurus 3.0. I was very excited to find this product: a combination of... more info
