We wanted something small enough to carry with us but able to deliver a better sound than a portable unit. The CMTBX1 has delivered big time. Customer Review: We bought this for our eight year old son. It is exactly what he "needed" and he won't out grow this anytime soon. Thankfully it has an AUX-IN and the cord is included.
