Customer Review: This is not a review, but an advice. This motor uses a band to move the door not a chain. So you won't be able to grow the lenght of the installation so easily. I had to return them because of that. Hope this helps. G
Customer Review: The 956CB or 970lm is a Security + remote. THe 956CB only works with Chamberlain Security + openers with a redish orange learn button. The 956D/370lm only works with Security + openers with a purple learn button.
You can find learn button on the back of the motor head under the light cover.

Customer Review: I kept forgetting to close the garage door, so tried this. It works! It currently transmits reliably at least 30 feet through 2 thick walls. My only wish is that the lights would be larger, but it does flash if the door isn't closed, which catches the eye just fine.
